That's me.. and my fabulous husband. I am Jessica and he is Brian. I am 23 years old and going on my third year as a first grade teacher. Here is what I am..
I am a newlywed. My husband and I have been together for over 4 years and tied the knot on October 23, 2010. Our life is a fairy tale!
I am a mom. Meet Chico "Cheech" and Sophie "Sissy". They are our only children for now. Give us a couple years and we will introduce new additions.
I am a best friend. These girls are my rock and I know I can turn to them with anything.
I am a first grade teacher. This is a picture from my first year of teaching. These silly students taught be more than they will ever know. I was truly blessed to have such an amazing group to break me in as an official first grade teacher.
Q: What would you be doing if you weren't a teacher?
A: I am often asked this question and my response is always the same. I honestly do not have a clue what profession I would pursue if I were unable to teach. My heart is 100% teacher and I love every minute.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Being a wife, spending time with my family and friends, interior decorating, crafts, and of course shopping.
Q: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A teacher! I always loved playing school as a child and ALWAYS had to be the teacher. I guess when you know.. you know!
Q: What is one of your favorite personality traits?
A: Organization! A tid bit of OCD.. Yes! I am often teased and talked about when people visit my classroom, house, closet, etc. I am SO okay with it.
Q: When you're on vacation, where do you like to go?
A: You can take me anywhere on vacation and I will live it up. Beach.. Snow.. City.. Mountains.. Oh the places we can go. My husband and I LOVE to travel.
Q: What is the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?
A: Just one.. Nope, here are a few. Be Yourself, Stay Positive, Don't Give Up, Always Be The Best You Can Be, Don't Loose Faith, and like my students say.. You Get What You Get and You Don't Pitch a Fit!
