Top Ten Reasons
Linky Party with MRS. TUNSTALL at Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits. We are posting about the Top Ten Reasons You Know It's Back to School Time.
Here are my top 10:
10. I visit the Dollar Tree, Target Dollar Spot, Office Depot, etc. EVERYDAY for SOMETHING. Yes.. They know me by name.
9. I have more coupons and teacher discount card than I know what to do with.
8. I have started my wake-up routine... 7 o'clock last week, 6 o'clock this week, 5:30 for teacher planning week, and eventually 5 o'clock for the week the students return.
7. I have started my overdoes on Vitamin C to fight the sneeze monsters I will soon encounter.
6. Limiting my meal time to 10 minutes or less.
5. I've starting talking to everyone I know from the squatting level.
4. My kitchen table is covered with consumables. I have torn more pages out of workbooks than I ever dreamed I would've.
3. I find myself drifting up and down the school supply isle at every store I can... NO.. I do not have any children of my own.. Yet.
2. My wardrobe is slowly taking its turn from shorts, tanks, and flip flops to slacks, dresses, and heels.
1. My to-do list has obviously changed..
No more.. Beach! Mall! Tan! Spa! Pedicure/Manicure!
More like.. Stop by school to unload car! Dollar Tree! Stop by the school to unload car! Tear out workbook pages! School clothes shopping! and the list goes On and On and On!

Teacher Song
We are almost back!!! Get ready to chunk the summer flops and step into your teaching heels. I ran across this and had to share. No the vocalist is not amazing.. BUT don't all teachers try? My mind often sounds just like the song and I can sooo relate.
